Student Voice at Seahaven Academy

There are lots of opportunities for students to make their voices hear at Seahaven Academy.  We have a school council which is made up or representatives from all year groups, they meet once per term (6 times per year) to discuss issues that have been raised in year group councils and tutor groups.  Currently the students are busy redesigning the reward and student leadership systems.  We also value the input of the student in the continuous cycle of improving learning and teaching here at Seahaven.  The student voice interviews are an important element of our termly reviews and students thoughts and opinions regarding the strengths and areas of development are considered carefully and reflected in subject development plans.

The new Student councils will be elected in September.

The school is part of United Learning. United Learning comprises: UCST (Registered in England No: 2780748. Charity No. 1016538) and ULT (Registered in England No. 4439859. An Exempt Charity). Companies limited by guarantee. VAT number 834 8515 12.
