The school will be OPEN tomorrow - Thursday 30th November. An engineer has managed to resolve the issue with the water and heating.

We look forward to seeing all our students back in school.

Welcome to Seahaven Academy

At Seahaven Academy we have a very simple ethos: be your best!

Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions that a parent can make on behalf of their child. At Seahaven Academy we strive to support students to empower them to achieve and be their very best. I believe that education is key to success and in the words of Nelson Mandela "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." His words inspired me to become a teacher and I want the students in our care to thrive in every way possible and am willing to be relentless in helping them to reach their potential.

Seahaven Academy is a smaller than average mixed secondary school, which is part of the United Learning group of schools and are fully committed to the group motto to bring out "the best in everyone." Our School is vibrant, calm, welcoming and supportive whilst promoting the highest standards and expectations in teaching and learning, behaviour and character education. Challenging targets are set for our students and support is offered to ensure they achieve them; we have clear, rigorous expectations for all and give them the guidance and consistency they need to fulfil them. We expect the very best from the students and you can expect the very best from us.

As the Principal of Seahaven, I am proud to be at the helm and believe the horizon is filled with possibilities for our school community. All children deserve the best we can give them, and I take that responsibility very seriously.

Please take a look at our website to get further informaiton about our school, but if you are a prospective parent/carer, a new colleague or an interested visitor we will be delighted to welcome you at one of our future open days or for a visit.
