Change to Admissions Arrangements – September 2027: Consultation

The governors of Seahaven Academy would like to give notice of proposed changes to the Academy’s Admission Policy which will apply from the 2027-28 academic year and thereafter, subject to any further consultation.

The main change in this revised Admissions Policy is to support the future planning of the school enabling students receive the best possible learning experience, delivered by specialist teachers that will allow them to achieve grades to provide academic choice at 16 years and beyond. 

Timescales

This consultation requires a six-week consultation period, in line with the School Admission Code. The consultation period is from the 12th December 2025 to 23rd January 2026.
